Tekirdağ Students Donate Pocket Money to Palestinian Children

Around 60 students from a summer Qur'an course gathered at Rüstem Paşa Mosque in the Süleymanpaşa district of Tekirdağ, Turkey. Under the coordination of the Süleymanpaşa District Mufti Office, they placed their saved pocket‑money into a "Palestine Brotherhood Piggy Bank" intended for children living in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Imam Uğur Küskün explained that the event aimed both to provide material help and to foster solidarity and awareness among the young participants. Student Mustafa Kayra Yalçın, 13, said he felt proud to support the children, while other pupils expressed wishes for peace and safety. The collected donations are slated to be sent to the Palestinian children shortly, and the program also included drawing activities with Palestinian‑themed pictures to raise further awareness.
