Tekiro wins Guinness World Record for Mechanic Competition at GIIAS

Tekiro, an Indonesian automotive tool manufacturer, was awarded a Guinness World Record for "The Largest Automotive Mechanic Competition" during the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 held at ICE BSD in Tangerang on 1 August 2026. The competition attracted more than 89,000 automotive‑technology students, part of the Tekiro Mechanic Competition series that began in 2022 and has registered over 252,000 participants to date. Oscar Sutjiadi, President Director of PT Altama Surya Anugerah – the parent company of the Tekiro brand – received the certificate from Guinness World Records adjudicator Tomomi Sekioka. The record is presented as evidence of Tekiro’s commitment to raising technical standards and developing a more competent automotive workforce in Indonesia.
