Teknikproffset files for bankruptcy following failed restructuring

The e-commerce company Teknikproffset, operating under TP E-commerce Nordic AB, has filed for bankruptcy at the Gothenburg District Court. The application follows a court decision to terminate the company's ongoing corporate restructuring, leaving the firm unable to meet its debt obligations.

The Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) has issued severe criticism regarding the company's management and financial transparency. Key issues cited by the agency include the failure to submit the 2025 annual report and delays in filing VAT and employer declarations, which prevented the determination of the exact tax debt owed to the Swedish state. While the company disputes claims that it suffered a 10 million SEK loss during the first eight months of 2026, the agency has highlighted significant administrative failures.

Additionally, the company has faced issues with its EU VAT One Stop Shop identification and reportedly owes between 1.7 and 2.7 million SEK in unpaid Norwegian taxes, which have been sent to enforcement authorities. This follows a history of financial instability, as the company's former parent firm, Söderlunds Bazaar, also entered bankruptcy in 2023.
