TEKNOSAB Logistics Park: 210 million dollar project foundation laid in Bursa

The foundation stone has been laid for the 210 million dollar TEKNOSAB Logistics Park project in Bursa, Turkey. Attended by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, the ceremony marks a significant expansion for the region's high-tech production hub.

As part of the project launch, e-commerce platform Hepsiburada and its logistics arm Hepsijet signed a leasing protocol. The first phase of the logistics center is expected to become operational in the final quarter of 2027. The project aims to enhance the competitive edge of the South Marmara region by integrating digital and green transformation goals.

Currently, approximately 30 companies are active within the TEKNOSAB zone, representing 60 billion lira in investment and 7,500 jobs. Projections suggest that by the end of 2026, the number of active firms will rise to 42, with total investments reaching 100 billion lira and employment growing to 9,000 people.

In a separate address to business leaders in Bursa, Vice President Yılmaz noted that Turkey's total goods and services exports reached 405 billion dollars as of August, despite economic pressures and slow growth in key markets like the European Union and the MENA region.
