Telangana CM invites Rajnath Singh to Raksha Expo-2026

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi to invite him to inaugurate Raksha Expo-2026. The expo is a key component of the Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026, which is scheduled to take place from December 7 to 9 at Bharat Future City.

The Chief Minister requested the cooperation of the Defence Ministry to ensure the event meets international standards. Key requests included obtaining necessary airspace clearances for an air show and securing the participation of the Indian Air Force, including the Surya Kiran and Sarang aerobatic teams, as well as support for static aircraft displays.

The expo is expected to feature dedicated conferences on the aerospace, defence, and space sectors, alongside industrial exhibitions and live demonstrations of land-based defence systems. The discussions also touched upon investment prospects within the state's defence sector and the involvement of various defence Public Sector Undertakings and DRDO laboratories.
