Telangana CM orders new school uniform designs for next year

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to introduce more attractive colors and varied designs for school uniforms starting next academic year. During a review of the distribution of educational materials, the Chief Minister instructed officials to prepare an action plan well in advance to ensure that uniforms and other supplies are available on the first day of school reopening.

Officials reported that one pair of uniforms has been distributed to students in government schools, hostels, and residential schools, with a second pair expected by the end of September. Students in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and Model Schools have already received two pairs. Additionally, the distribution of notebooks, bedding, and dining utensils to students in government hostels and residential schools has been completed.

In planning for the upcoming year, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to account for a potential 10 percent increase in student enrollment to ensure adequate supplies. He noted that parents have expressed satisfaction with the quality of the materials provided this year.
