Telangana CM Revanth Reddy marks TPCC chief's tenure and announces Hyderabad traffic changes
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated Mahesh Kumar Goud on completing two years as the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC). In a social media post, the Chief Minister highlighted Goud’s journey from a grassroots worker to leading the state party, noting that appointing a leader from the Backward Classes (BC) community reflects the Congress party’s commitment to social justice.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar also extended congratulations, praising Goud’s dedication and his role in strengthening the party organization at the ground level. The party stated that under his leadership, the TPCC has focused on initiatives like ‘Jan-Shasan’ to engage directly with the public.
Separately, Hyderabad police have announced significant traffic diversions in anticipation of a public meeting by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the B.R. Ambedkar statue in Tank Bund this Sunday. The diversions, scheduled from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, are also expected to accommodate a proposed protest rally. Major areas including Liberty Junction, Secretariat Junction, and various crossroads near Tank Bund will experience redirected traffic to manage potential congestion.
