Telangana CM Revanth Reddy pledges support to Arya Vysya community

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has pledged government support for the Arya Vysya community following the foundation stone laying ceremony for the ‘Arya Vysya Atma Gourava Bhavanam’ in Uppal, Hyderabad.

Reddy noted that the community has historically lacked sufficient recognition due to its tendency to avoid publicity. He emphasized that unity is essential for the community to claim its rightful share in politics. To support their welfare, the government has established the Arya Vysya Corporation and has already appointed a community representative as its chairman.

The Chief Minister highlighted the community’s historical contributions, citing the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and Potti Sriramulu. He also recalled the financial stewardship of former finance minister K Rosaiah, noting that his management helped Telangana emerge as a surplus state following the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
