Telangana Congress chief Mahesh Goud denies rift with CM Revanth Reddy
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud said there is no gap between him and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, noting they speak on the phone every day and maintain a strong working relationship. He dismissed recent speculation about internal discord, emphasizing that the Coordination Committee meeting was held in an open venue and was misinterpreted.
Goud also addressed legal notices he has received after accusing BRS leader T. Harish Rao of performing "kshudra pujas" (black‑magic rituals) in temples in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. He said he will respond to the notices at an appropriate time and will stand by his statements. In the same remarks he mentioned ongoing reviews of irregularities in the delivery of custom‑milled rice and the allocation of Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society posts to party cadres.
