Telangana Congress leaders travel to Delhi amid political shifts
Several senior Telangana Congress leaders, including Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Minister Konda Surekha, have traveled to New Delhi amid internal party developments and speculation regarding a potential Cabinet expansion.
Minister Konda Surekha is expected to meet with Congress General Secretary K. C. Venugopal and has also sought an appointment with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. Other ministers, including Uttam Kumar Reddy and Vivek Venkataswamy, have also arrived in the capital. While some leaders are traveling for administrative matters, others are expected to discuss organizational and party-related issues.
The concentration of leadership in Delhi has fueled discussions about possible changes within the Telangana government. Additionally, BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party would welcome Konda Surekha if she chose to join the party, noting there are no corruption allegations against her.
