Telangana Congress Plans Voter Roll Revision and Graduate MLC Election at Delhi Coordination Meeting
The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Coordination Committee met in New Delhi, chaired by AICC Telangana in‑charge Meenakshi Natarajan. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and senior ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, C. Damodar Rajan Simha and Danasari Anasuya attended.
The meeting focused on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with leaders urging Booth Level Agents to ensure “not a single eligible vote should be lost” and to complete the first phase within a few days. Plans were also laid out for the graduate MLC elections scheduled for March 2027. The party agreed to streamline coordination between the state government and the Congress organisation by convening TPCC Coordination Committee meetings every 45 days and to use the party network to deliver welfare and development programmes to every household in Telangana. Vikramarka emphasized that “the right to vote is the cornerstone of India’s democracy.”
