Telangana Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka urges NRIs to invest in $3 trillion economy plan

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka addressed the 19th American Telugu Association National Convention in Baltimore, calling on Non‑Resident Indians to contribute expertise and capital to the Indian state’s development. He highlighted a single‑window approval system and pledged full government support for industrial and social projects.

Vikramarka outlined the state’s ambition to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047, citing ongoing infrastructure upgrades such as the Musi River rejuvenation, the Outer Ring Road, a new Regional Ring Road, 36 radial roads, and a planned “Future City” linking Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad. He also announced the launch of Young India Integrated Residential Schools—one in each of Telangana’s 100 constituencies, each built on 25 acres at a cost of ₹200 crore, to raise educational standards.

The deputy chief minister said the government is considering a dedicated mechanism to address NRI grievances, ensuring swift resolution of issues faced by overseas Indians and their families in Telangana.
