Telangana graduates face technical issues with MLC voter registration

Eligible graduates in Telangana are experiencing technical difficulties with the online Form-18 registration portal ahead of the November 6 deadline for the upcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections. The registration portal, hosted on the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Telangana website, has reportedly been inaccessible or experiencing service errors since November 1.

The registration process is required for graduates in the Mahabubnagar–Rangareddy–Hyderabad and Warangal–Khammam–Nalgonda constituencies to be included in the newly prepared electoral rolls. This requirement applies to all eligible graduates, regardless of whether they were previously registered.

Political representatives, including Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Dasoju Sravan, have reportedly brought these technical failures to the attention of the Telangana CEO and the Election Commission of India. The glitches have caused concern among voters regarding their ability to exercise their right to enroll before the submission deadline.
