Telangana High Court Allows Garikipati Infra GST Revocation and Sets Deadline for Minimum Wage Explanation

The Telangana High Court permitted Garikipati Infra to submit a physical application for revoking the cancellation of its GST registration (No. 36AATFG4296R1Z7). The registration had been cancelled because the company failed to update its bank account details despite notices. The court directed that if the application is filed within two weeks, the tax authority must consider it and render a decision within three weeks.

In a separate matter, the same court gave the Telangana state government a final opportunity to explain its long‑pending revision of minimum wages. The bench adjourned the case to August 20 and ordered the government to file a detailed affidavit showing whether the variable dearness allowance paid to workers over the years effectively matched the wage levels that should have been notified. The government noted a fresh wage notification issued on May 30, 2026, effective June 1, 2026.
