Telangana High Court Issues Rulings on GST Registration Revocation and NIMZ Land Acquisition

The Telangana High Court allowed Sri Surya Enterprises to submit a physical application for revoking the cancellation of its GST registration, which had been voided after six consecutive months of non‑filing of returns. The court directed that the application be filed within one week and that the competent authority decide it within three weeks.

In a separate matter, the court ordered the state government to withdraw the land acquisition notification for Rejinthal village in Nyalkal mandal, Sangareddy district. The notification pertained to the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) project and had faced prolonged opposition from farmers. The withdrawal provides relief to the affected farmers and halts the proposed acquisition of the fertile agricultural land.
