Telangana High Court Orders Interim Relief for Landowners and Reviews Flyover Delay Case

The Telangana High Court granted interim protection to petitioners challenging the revocation of government orders that had allowed conversion of land in Dulapally village, Medchal‑Malkajgiri district, from recreational to residential use. The court directed that no coercive steps be taken against the disputed properties until the next hearing scheduled for July 27.

In a separate petition, IT professional C Snehith Reddy asked the same court to order the National Highways Authority of India and the Telangana Roads & Buildings department to complete the Suchitra‑Kompally elevated corridor on NH‑44, a project delayed beyond its original June 2024 deadline. He cited severe traffic congestion, accidents and increased pollution, and the bench adjourned the case to July 30.
