Telangana introduces secure, tear-resistant MeeSeva certificates

The Telangana government has introduced upgraded security stationery for MeeSeva certificates to enhance the durability and authenticity of official documents. Launched by IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu in Hyderabad, the new paper is engineered to be both tear-resistant and water-resistant, protecting essential records such as birth and death certificates from physical damage and accidental exposure to liquids.

The new stationery incorporates 15 advanced security features designed to prevent counterfeiting and unauthorized duplication. While specific details of these features remain undisclosed for security reasons, the technology aims to ensure that documents used for educational, legal, and employment purposes remain reliable over many years. The enhanced durability is also expected to reduce the necessity for lamination during routine handling and long-term storage.
