Telangana police arrest five for concealing ganja in auto speaker

The Telangana Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE), working with Pet Basheerabad police, arrested five individuals for drug peddling on August 17. Authorities seized 6 kg of ganja, valued at approximately Rs 3 lakh, which had been concealed inside an auto-rickshaw speaker box.

The investigation revealed that the group traveled from Hyderabad to Nagpur to procure the drugs. One of the accused, Mohammed Hamid, allegedly purchased the ganja from a supplier in Nagpur before attempting to transport it back to Hyderabad in the concealed compartment of the vehicle.
