Telangana police arrest mechanic for alleged rape and murder of nurse
Pahadishareef Police have arrested 34-year-old MD Sanaullah, a bike mechanic, in connection with the alleged rape and murder of a 21-year-old nurse in the Rangareddy district of Telangana.
The victim, a native of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, worked at a private hospital in Thukkuguda and resided in hospital-provided rooms. According to police reports, the accused allegedly attacked the victim with a hammer inside her room. The crime was discovered after the victim's friends noticed she had not emerged from her room and entered through a window to find her deceased with facial injuries.
The arrest follows protests organized by the victim's family and BJP leaders, who demanded justice and an encounter for the accused.
