The Ganesh Chaturthi festival concluded with large-scale immersion processions (visarjan) across India, most notably in Mumbai, Telangana, and Gujarat. In Mumbai, prominent idols such as Lalbaugcha Raja were immersed in the Arabian Sea following lengthy processions. To manage the massive crowds, authorities deployed over 24,000 police personnel and 25,000 municipal employees, while implementing strict traffic restrictions and no-parking zones.

In Telangana, the immersion of over 20,000 idols at Hussain Sagar Lake was reported as peaceful by the Hyderabad Police Commissioner. However, the state saw tragic casualties, with 13 people, including a police Sub-Inspector, losing their lives during the festivities.

Other regional highlights included a record-breaking auction of a Balapur Ganesh laddoo for 39 lakh rupees in Hyderabad and a four-tonne laddoo auctioned for 17 lakh rupees in Talcher. In Indore, hydraulic platforms were utilized to facilitate the immersion of idols at Jawahar Tekri. Throughout the celebrations, various cities implemented heavy security measures, including the use of drones and CCTV cameras, to ensure public safety during the massive gatherings.
