Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has emphasized the critical role of civil service officers in delivering state and central government welfare schemes, particularly to marginalized communities. Speaking at a clothes distribution event organized by the Tripura Civil Service Officers Association in Agartala, Saha described these officers as the “backbone of the state administration.”

In addition to administrative duties, the Chief Minister praised officers for their humanitarian efforts, including disaster relief, blood donation camps, and social programs. He noted their contributions to major events like the G-20 Science Plenary Session and highlighted Tripura’s national standing in deregulation and compliance reduction.

Regarding healthcare, Saha announced efforts to strengthen infrastructure, including the establishment of drug rehabilitation centers in various districts. He also launched the ‘Emicizumab for All Persons with Severe Haemophilia A in Tripura’ program and noted a significant decline in patients being referred to hospitals outside the state, suggesting improved local medical services.
