Telangana resolves ₹8.29 crore in MSME payment disputes

The Government of Telangana, in collaboration with the Ministry of MSME and the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry, held the Parishrama Adalat Conclave in Hyderabad to address delayed payment disputes for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).

During the event, six MSE Facilitation Councils from the Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Sangareddy, Hanumakonda, and Karimnagar districts resolved 65 cases involving ₹8.29 crore. The resolutions were achieved through structured conciliation, Online Dispute Resolution (ODR), and Samadhaan mechanisms.

Specific outcomes included the release of 10 cheques totaling ₹1.40 crore, the resolution of 26 ODR cases worth ₹89 lakh, and 29 Samadhaan cases amounting to ₹6 crore. These interventions aim to help small businesses recover working capital and mitigate the operational pressures caused by prolonged payment delays.
