The Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted coordinated raids on 15‑16 locations linked to Telangana Roads and Buildings Engineer‑in‑Chief Mohan Naik Jarupla. Investigators identified assets with an official valuation of about Rs 17.95 crore, while market estimates place the total at nearly Rs 200 crore. The seized property includes seven flats, a triplex villa, a newly built house, 19 acres of agricultural land, cash of Rs 55 lakh, bank deposits of roughly Rs 1.44 crore, gold ornaments weighing 2.5 kg (≈Rs 2 crore), 6 kg of silver, household items valued at Rs 1.26 crore, electronic gadgets and two vehicles.

In a separate incident reported in the same coverage, Railway Police and the Railway Protection Force apprehended a man on the Devagiri Express transporting Rs 1.22 crore in hawala money from Mumbai to Hyderabad. The individual, identified as Vijay Ambadas Gupta, claimed the cash was to be handed over to a jewellery dealer in Secunderabad.

The ACB has filed a disproportionate assets case against Jarupla under the Prevention of Corruption Act and will present him before a special judge for further judicial proceedings.
