Telangana to host Raksha Expo during 2026 Global Summit

The Telangana state government will host the ‘Raksha Expo’ from December 7 to December 9, 2026, as part of the Invest Telangana Global Summit. The event will take place at the Young India Skills University campus in Bharat Future City.

The expo aims to highlight the state’s leadership in the defence, aerospace, and space sectors. It will feature equipment and components from local public sector undertakings, multinational aerospace corporations, and homegrown startups. Notable highlights are expected from Telangana-based aerospace and defence startups, following the success of Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-1 rocket launch.

Hyderabad serves as a major hub for aerospace maintenance, housing the world’s largest Boeing and Airbus LEAP engine MRO hub, as well as the first Rafale military engine MRO hub and Rafale fuselage manufacturing line located outside of France. The event will include an acrobatic airshow by defence personnel and a startup showcase arena organized by T-Hub, T-Works, and WE-Hub.
