Telangana woman seeks mental hospital admission for husband

A woman in Telangana has requested that her husband, a computer operator at Ramoji Film City, be admitted to a mental hospital due to escalating mental distress. According to her complaint, the man’s condition has led to frequent quarrels with his wife and their six-year-old daughter.

The wife alleges that the distress stems from a pending court case involving a loan of Rs 4,00,000. She noted that while he had a history of abnormal behavior treated previously in Erragadda, his symptoms worsened after he ceased taking prescribed medication.

Reports indicate the man allegedly assaulted a duty doctor at the Pochampally Primary Health Centre and obstructed police officers from performing their duties at a local station. CCTV footage of the incident has circulated on social media, and police have registered a case to investigate the matter.
