Telcel GAMERGY to host major esports and pop culture festival in Mexico City

The esports ecosystem in Latin America is undergoing significant structural consolidation, characterized by professionalized infrastructures similar to traditional sports. Mexico has emerged as a central hub for logistics and industry announcements within the region.

In Mexico City, the fifth edition of Telcel GAMERGY is scheduled to take place at Expo Santa Fe from August 28 to 30. The event aims to exceed 95,000 attendees and will feature esports tournaments, live music, and pop culture activities. A major highlight is the FIFAE Continental Championship by ECONCACAF, an official FIFA esports tournament produced by CONCACAF and GGTech Entertainment, which serves as a continental qualifier for the World Cup.

Additionally, the growth of digital audiences has fostered a robust financial environment for esports, including the integration of advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling in competitive gaming, particularly within titles like League of Legends.
