Tele 5's 'El verano se mueve' faces criticism over cramped studio and cheap contest
Tele 5 launched a summer afternoon magazine program called "El verano se mueve" with the aim of traveling along Spain's coast to capture a larger audience.
In practice the production is confined to a small studio set for four days a week, with a limited travel budget. The only on‑location presenter is the nephew of Ana Rosa, while Ion Aramendi remains seated in the studio. The show mixes light‑hearted segments with coverage of national tragedies but has not settled on a clear tone. It also introduced a contest that buried a €400,000 prize – a 20‑euro Christmas lottery ticket – in the sand, a move critics described as cheap and suggestive of possible internal sabotage.
