Telecinco announces new reality show Honesty House
Telecinco has unveiled details for its new reality dating show, ‘Honesty House’, presented at the FesTVal in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Hosted by Raquel Sánchez Silva, the program features twelve singles—six men and six women—living together in a mansion on the Barú peninsula near Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
The central mechanic of the show involves a high-tech lie detection system known as the ‘Honesty Box’. Rather than using a traditional polygraph, the system utilizes an optical scanner that analyzes iris movements, pupil diameter changes, blinking, and gaze fixation. Mediaset notes that this specific technology is also used in international intelligence services.
During the show, an alarm will signal a participant to enter the ‘Honesty Box’ to answer questions regarding their personal lives, intentions, or interactions within the house. While other participants can watch the responses, they will not know if the answers are truthful until the host reveals the results during a segment called ‘El Jardín de la Verdad’ (The Garden of Truth).
