Regarding voicemail, regulations in Portugal established by ANACOM dictate that the first five seconds of a voicemail greeting are free of charge. This window allows callers to decide whether to leave a message or disconnect without incurring costs. If a user remains on the line beyond these five seconds, charges apply according to their specific service plan.
