MasterChef Celebrity returns with Wanda Nara and 24 celebrities

The new season of MasterChef Celebrity is set to premiere on Monday, September 28, at 22:15 on Telefe and HBO Max. Hosted by Wanda Nara, the competition features 24 celebrities, including Luck Ra, Juli Poggio, and Pachu Peña. The judging panel includes Damián Betular and Germán Martitegui, with Maru Botana joining to replace Donato De Santis.

Pre-production has already seen tension, specifically a disagreement between participants Elizabeth ‘La Negra’ Vernaci and China Ansa during a recording session. Ansa described Vernaci as ‘impulsive’ and ‘verborrágica’ following a clash over culinary decisions. Vernaci has addressed the rumors of friction, stating she joined the show for the prize money and intends to remain herself, noting, ‘I am not going to kneel to make you like what I do.’

Additionally, actress Eugenia Tobal reflected on her previous controversial exit from the show, citing personal difficulties at the time. Meanwhile, Wanda Nara continues to expand her professional portfolio, with her first film, ‘¿Querés ser mi hijo?’, scheduled for release on October 22.
