Telefónica appoints new regional directors in Murcia and Valencia

Telefónica has appointed new regional directors for the Murcia and Valencian Community regions in Spain.

In the Region of Murcia, Ana Garrido has been named the new regional director. She will lead the company's activities in the area, focusing on strengthening relationships with businesses, public administrations, and the innovation ecosystem. Her objectives include accelerating the adoption of technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and next-generation networks. The company also plans to deploy a new Edge node in Murcia in the coming months.

In the Valencian Community, Jorge García has been appointed as the new regional director. An engineer with over 20 years of experience at Telefónica, García will serve as the company's institutional representative in the region. He aims to foster collaboration with economic and social agents to drive digital transformation and enhance the competitiveness of local businesses through technologies like AI, cloud, and cybersecurity.
