Telefónica to reinforce 5G network for major events in Lleida

Telefónica is reinforcing its communication networks across major mass events in the Lleida region this summer to ensure attendee connectivity. The company will optimize infrastructure and deploy mobile units equipped with high-performance 5G technology in areas with high public concentration.

This initiative, which runs until September 15, is part of a broader deployment covering 440 events across Spain. In the Lleida area, specific interventions will take place at events such as the Aquelarre de Cervera and the Fira de Teatre de Tàrrega. These mobile units are designed to temporarily increase data transmission capacity and speed in high-demand zones.

Additionally, Fira Tàrrega has opened the call for artistic participation for its 2027 edition, scheduled for September 9–12, 2027. Interested companies and artists have until September 30 to submit proposals.
