Telekom launches Fiber Router 7 with WiFi 7 technology

Telekom is upgrading home connectivity in Greece by introducing the Fiber Router 7, which utilizes WiFi 7 technology to provide fast and stable wireless connections. The router is provided free of charge with fiber-to-the-home connections.

To ensure uniform coverage throughout the home, the company is also launching the Mesh Power WiFi service. Developed in collaboration with Comcast Technology Solutions, this mesh solution dynamically adapts to device usage and home layouts. The service is available with a 50% discount for the first four months, after which it carries a monthly fee of €4. Customers can opt for professional installation by a Telekom technician for an additional €30.

Users can manage their home networks via the Telekom App, which includes features for remote WiFi control, Guest WiFi activation, and device monitoring. The app also offers free online security tools, such as parental controls and the ability to temporarily suspend internet access for specific devices.
