Telekom Srbija to enter U.S. market via AT&T partnership

Telekom Srbija plans to enter the United States market on December 1, following the expected receipt of necessary licenses in mid-November. The company will operate as a mobile virtual network operator, utilizing AT&T’s network to ensure nationwide coverage across the U.S.

CEO Vladimir Lučić announced that the company will offer service packages starting at $29. These plans are designed to target the diaspora, providing unlimited calls to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, along with access to Telekom Srbija television channels. The expansion follows successful mobile telephony and television launches in European markets such as Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, where the company currently serves over 700,000 users.

Beyond mobile services, Telekom Srbija aims to establish strategic partnerships with leading American technology firms to collaborate on artificial intelligence. Through its corporate investment fund, TS Ventures, the group is also supporting AI-driven solutions in healthcare, robotics, media, and digital content protection. Additionally, the company is continuing its 5G network expansion, having already deployed more than 2,000 base stations.
