Telemedicine contracts signed in Argentina's General Villegas and Spain's Murcia region

In General Villegas, Argentina, the municipal government opened the bidding process to renew its digital health and telemedicine system, allocating 44 million Argentine pesos. The sole offer came from IT Consult S.A., matching the official budget, and the contract will cover services in four localities for an initial four‑month period with the possibility of extension.

In the Region of Murcia, Spain, the national Ministry of Health, Red.es and the regional health authority signed a four‑year agreement worth €5.17 million. The funding will support intelligent digital health services, including artificial‑intelligence‑based diagnostics, remote monitoring of chronic patients, tele‑care, and a medical imaging interoperability network. The programme is part of a broader national health‑digital strategy funded by EU and state resources.
