Teleoptik goalkeeper Veljko Popović starts in Serbian First League

Seventeen-year-old goalkeeper Veljko Popović has secured a starting role for Teleoptik in the Serbian First League. Despite being under 18, Popović has played a key role in recent matches, including two consecutive clean sheets against Bor and Metalac.

Popović, who has participated in training sessions with Partizan's first team and has experience with Serbian youth national selections, is viewed as a developing talent for the Partizan organization. He noted that the primary difference in senior football compared to youth categories is the increased speed of play and the higher level of experience among opponents.
