Teleorman: 12-year-old girl found safe after abduction

A 12-year-old girl, Angela Tănase-Petre, was found safe following an abduction in the Poroschia commune of Teleorman County, Romania.

On October 9, authorities were alerted that the minor had been forcibly taken from a street by three individuals in a vehicle. The car was reportedly seen traveling toward Alexandria. In response, the Romanian Police activated the 'Child Abduction Alert' mechanism and established a crisis cell to coordinate the search.

During the investigation, police identified one of the men involved in the vehicle. A criminal case for illegal deprivation of liberty has been opened. While the initial search focused on locating the girl, police later confirmed she was found safely during the night and had not been the victim of any crimes beyond the abduction itself.
