Teleperformance shares plunge after cutting 2026 revenue outlook
Teleperformance shares fell as much as 21.3% in Paris after the French outsourcing group lowered its 2026 revenue guidance. The company now expects like-for-like revenue for 2026 to decline between 1.5% and 2.5%, a significant reduction from its previous forecast of 0% to 2% growth.
The downward revision is driven by a sharp decline in the Trust and Safety division, which provides content moderation services for digital platforms. CEO Jorge Amar noted that the division is under pressure due to industry headwinds, specifically as large technology customers increasingly replace basic moderation work with artificial intelligence tools.
While the Trust and Safety segment struggled, other areas showed resilience. Excluding that division, revenue grew by 2%. Additionally, the company reported that its AI projects more than doubled year-over-year to 1,400. Third-quarter reported revenue rose 1% to €2.53 billion, though like-for-like revenue fell 1.2% compared to the previous year.
