Teletón 2026 sets 500 million colones goal for geriatric hospital
The Teletón 2026 charity event is scheduled to take place on November 20 and 21 under the slogan ‘¡Hagamos que suene!’. Organized by the Club Activo 20-30, the campaign has set a fundraising goal of 500 million colones.
All proceeds will be directed to the Hospital Nacional de Geriatría y Gerontología Raúl Blanco Cervantes. The funds are intended to strengthen medical services, specifically targeting the needs of the ophthalmology and primary care departments to better serve the elderly population.
The event will return to the Gimnasio Nacional as its primary venue, a location that has not hosted the Teletón since 1999. A lineup of national and international artists participating in the event is expected to be announced in early October.
