Teletón 2026 tour travels through five Peruvian cities

The Teletón 2026 tour has launched across Peru, visiting five key cities to prepare for the national fundraising event scheduled for September 11 and 12. The tour includes stops in Chiclayo, Cusco, Piura, Iquitos, and Arequipa.

Beyond festive activities involving music and volunteers, the tour aims to decentralize the campaign and provide transparency regarding previous donations. Organizers are using these regional visits to report on how past funds were utilized for rehabilitation scholarships, physical therapies, and infrastructure improvements at San Juan de Dios clinics.

In Cusco, organizers have called upon local families, schools, and businesses to participate. The campaign will utilize physical collection points and digital donation codes to meet the national economic goal for the year, ensuring continued rehabilitation services for children with disabilities.
