Televisa announces ‘Cuando fui bonita’ Mexican adaptation

Televisa is launching a new production titled ‘Cuando fui bonita’, a Mexican adaptation of the popular South Korean drama ‘She Was Pretty’. Directed by Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo, the series is set in the fashion magazine industry and follows the reunion of two childhood friends whose lives have changed significantly since they last met.

The series stars Geraldine Galván as Paola Hernández, an aspiring writer, and Daniel Gama as Juan Ramírez, a disciplined professional. The cast also includes Valentina de Abreu, who plays the character Minnie Luna, making her debut in a major Mexican series following her studies at Televisa’s Centro de Educación Artística (CEA).

‘Cuando fui bonita’ is scheduled to premiere on Canal 5 and will be available internationally via the streaming platform ViX.
