Television Academy announces juried winners for 78th Emmy Awards

The Television Academy has announced the winners for the 78th annual Emmy Awards in several juried categories. Unlike standard categories, juried winners are selected by panels of professionals without a formal nomination process.

In the animation category, winners for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation include ‘Eyes of Wakanda’, ‘Star Wars: Visions’, ‘The Mighty Nein’, and ‘Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal’. The latter earned honors for both storyboard work and art direction.

In the costume design category for variety, nonfiction, or reality programming, ‘The Masked Singer’ and ‘The Traitors’ were both recognized. Additionally, ‘Crafting Crimes’ received the award for Outstanding Innovation in Emerging Media Programming.

These winners will be honored during the Creative Arts Emmys on September 5 and 6 at the Peacock Theater. The Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Mariska Hargitay, are scheduled for September 14.
