Television Academy begins voting for 78th Emmy Awards

Voting for the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards has officially commenced. Members of the Television Academy have until 10 p.m. PT on August 26 to cast their ballots for the upcoming awards ceremonies, which are scheduled to take place across three nights on September 5, 6, and 13.

In the comedy categories, the veteran series ‘Hacks’ holds a lead in current odds, though it faces competition from the newcomer ‘Widow’s Bay’. In the drama categories, ‘The Pitt’ is a frontrunner to defend its title, while ‘Pluribus’ is noted as a strong contender in writing and directing. Additionally, HBO’s ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ has secured a position in the Outstanding Drama Series category.
