Television actresses Zuzana Tlučková and Klára Jandová reflect on career paths

Actress Zuzana Tlučková, known for her role as Mária Fraňová in the series Sľuba, began her television career as a child on the musical-entertainment program Zlatá brána. Produced by the Košice studio of Czechoslovak Television between 1974 and 1989, the show featured young performers, and Tlučková even performed the song ‘Bryndza’. This early experience was later referenced in the series Sľuba, where her character watched archival footage of the program.

In the Czech Republic, actress Klára Jandová, recognized for her role as Eva Pokorná in the series Rodinná pouta, has stepped back from frequent television appearances. While she gained significant fame through her character's relationship with Adam Rubeš, she has since focused on other life aspects, including motherhood. Although she appears less often on screen, she recently reunited with co-star Tomáš Krejčíř for the series 1. MISE.
