Television series expansions and new premieres arrive

Several major television expansions and premieres are making waves in the entertainment industry. The film universe ‘In the Fire’ has expanded with a spin-off series. Following the success of the first season, ‘Paris in the Fire’, the second season titled ‘Apollo in the Fire’ is scheduled to premiere on Canal+ on September 14, 2026. Created by Howard Overman, the new season features characters Zara and Vincent in Libya and includes Polish actor Jacek Koman in a central role.

In the science fiction genre, the series ‘Alien: Earth’ is expanding its reach. Following its debut on Disney+ in August 2025, the series has moved to traditional television, with the second episode scheduled to air on the FX channel on September 12, 2026. The show, created by Noah Hawley, has already been renewed for a second season. Production for the upcoming season began in London in July 2026 and will feature actors such as Tracey Ullman, Sam Spruell, and Jerome Flynn.
