Telkom Indonesia rolls out AI ecosystem and streamlines portfolio to sharpen competitiveness

PT Telkom Indonesia introduced its AIcosystem at the InnoVibes 2026 forum in Bandung’s ITB Innovation Park. The platform is positioned as a foundation for Indonesia’s AI sovereignty, showcasing AI solutions for business, public services and cybersecurity through the AI BigBox exhibit and the newly formed Telkom AI Center of Excellence.

In a separate announcement, Telkom’s Strategic Business Development director Seno Soemadji said the company is pursuing a streamlining of its portfolio to focus on new growth engines such as data centres, artificial‑intelligence services and digital B2B solutions. “Fokus investasi tersebut diarahkan untuk memperkuat new growth engines, meningkatkan daya saing, serta menciptakan pertumbuhan dan nilai jangka panjang yang berkelanjutan,” he explained, adding that the leaner structure will cut internal bureaucracy, speed decision‑making and improve agility across the Telkom Group.
