TelkomGroup provides aid and connectivity for NTT earthquake victims

Telkom Indonesia and its operating company, Telkomsel, are providing humanitarian aid and connectivity support to earthquake victims in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), specifically in the Flores region. TelkomGroup has distributed approximately Rp1.3 billion in aid, separate from connectivity services, across more than 10 areas to assist with emergency response and recovery.

The aid, totaling 3.65 tons, includes food packages, household logistics, baby supplies, medicine, and hygiene products. TelkomGroup is coordinating with agencies such as BNPB, BPBD, and the Ministry of Health to ensure targeted distribution.

To maintain communication during the emergency, Telkomsel is providing free WiFi posts, internet access, and SIM cards at evacuation centers. Additionally, the company has introduced an emergency data package for Rp1, which includes 3 GB of internet, 1,000 SMS, and 300 minutes of calls valid for seven days. Through the ‘Bersama Bantu Flores Bangkit’ program, customers can also donate Telkomsel points to support earthquake relief efforts.
