Telkomsel concludes tenth IndonesiaNEXT summit focused on AI talent

Telkomsel has concluded the tenth year of its IndonesiaNEXT program with the IndonesiaNEXT Summit 2026 in Jakarta. This year’s theme, ‘AI Driven Digital Talents’, focused on equipping students with artificial intelligence competencies and industry experience to bridge the gap between university graduates and the evolving digital industry.

The program utilized a multidisciplinary approach by categorizing participants into three specific roles: ‘Hacker’ for technology development, ‘Hipster’ for user experience and design, and ‘Hustler’ for product management and business sustainability. From an initial pool of 8,916 students, the selection process included onboarding, international certification, and a digital hackathon, ultimately resulting in 24 finalists divided into eight teams.

During the summit, Team Scenaria was named the ‘Best Team’ for developing a relevant AI-based solution. The program has evolved from a certification-focused initiative into a platform for fostering startup mindsets and product creativity.
