Telluride Film Festival film lineup world cinema movie premieres Oscar contenders

The 53rd Telluride Film Festival has announced its official program, featuring more than 60 feature films, short films, and revival programs. The festival, dedicated to Dean Tavoularis, is scheduled to run from September 4 through September 7, 2026, in Telluride, Colorado.

Notable world premieres in the lineup include Jesse Eisenberg’s ‘The Debut’ starring Julianne Moore, Simon Stone’s ‘Elsinore’ starring Andrew Scott, Mike Leigh’s ‘Tender Loving Care,’ Andrew Haigh’s ‘A Long Winter,’ and the Zellner brothers’ ‘Alpha Gang.’

The selection also includes several films that previously premiered at major festivals like Cannes and Venice, such as ‘Ink’ by Danny Boyle, ‘Bucking Fastard’ by Werner Herzog, and ‘Fjord’ by Cristian Mungiu. Special tributes will be presented to Andrew Haigh, actress Sandra Hüller, and actor John Malkovich.
