Telstar organizes school korfball tournament and clinics

Korfbalvereniging Telstar hosted a school korfball tournament and clinic at the Middelaar sports complex on September 16. The event involved hundreds of children from various primary schools.

Younger students in groups 3 and 4 participated in morning clinics to learn the basics of the sport through games and shooting practice. In the afternoon, students from groups 5 through 8 competed in the annual tournament. During the event, the Fair Play Trophy was awarded to 't Blokhuus primary school for demonstrating excellent sportsmanship. A final round of competition is scheduled for September 18 to determine the winners of the various age group trophies.
